Drummer will be responsible for the company’s overall commercial strategy, lead the business development team, and report directly to Managing Director Andreas Seitz.
Drummer brings more than 20 years of experience in the air freight industry, including over a decade in the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector. His extensive expertise in the business of active containers is considered valuable, as he has a proven track record of connecting commercial strategy with operational execution. His career includes leadership positions in sales, product development, and operations, with a focus on building effective international teams.
In a statement, Drummer emphasized the importance of relationships in the logistics business: „Logistics is ultimately a people-driven business, and consistency is what builds trust over time. Customers expect more than just solutions; they rely on partners who are close to their operations, anticipate challenges, and respond quickly when it matters.“ He added that his focus will be on bringing teams together across regions, providing clear directions, and ensuring the consistent implementation of the long-term strategy. „Sustainable partnerships are based on trust, reliability, and a shared commitment to daily results,“ Drummer continued.
In parallel with this appointment, Edwin Visser has been appointed Senior Vice President Strategic Alliances. This new leadership position, which also reports directly to Andreas Seitz, has been created to further strengthen DoKaSch’s global strategy and growth. Visser has served as CCO at DoKaSch Temperature Solutions for over three years and will now leverage his extensive industry experience and network in another key role.
