Founded in 2001 in Beelen, the company has established itself as a partner for comprehensive logistics solutions, particularly in the field of multichannel logistics for food and related products in Europe.
Growth and Integration into a European Network
From its beginnings with just three employees and a warehouse area of 5,000 m², B+S has continuously evolved. Today, the company employs around 1,200 staff at 14 locations and manages a logistics area of 500,000 m². Since 2022, B+S has been a 100% subsidiary of the Nagel-Group and part of a Europe-wide network for temperature-controlled logistics. This integration strengthens the company’s market position and provides access to additional synergies as well as a powerful infrastructure.
B+S operates as a full-service provider and manages the entire supply chain. The range of services includes warehouse management, storage in various temperature ranges, e-commerce fulfillment, and customized transport solutions. The focus areas are food, pet food, and healthcare, serving various distribution channels, including marketplaces, brick-and-mortar retail, as well as B2B and B2C web shops.
Strategic Orientation and Teamwork
The performance of B+S is based on a synergy of experienced teams, modern infrastructure, and a clear strategic orientation. The management team places great importance on the continuous development of these structures. Clemens von Ketteler, spokesperson for the management, focuses on strategic corporate development and sales. Cordula Brockmeyer leads the operational area, while Christian Voß is responsible for finance, personnel, and administration. Von Ketteler emphasizes: “25 years of B+S represent dynamism, innovation, and reliable partnerships. Our strong team and full integration into the Europe-wide Nagel-Group network enable us to offer flexible logistics solutions for our customers.”

The anniversary of B+S is not only an occasion to celebrate entrepreneurial success but also the loyalty and commitment of the employees. Nadine Stahl, head of central billing, has been part of the company for 25 years and describes her experience: “It is a special feeling to be part of the team since the founding. I have witnessed the development of the company up close – with many changes, growth, and shared successes. I look forward to continuing to be part of this journey in the future.” Her long-standing commitment reflects the corporate culture of B+S, which is based on trust, appreciation, and shared responsibility.
