With the introduction of the „MetriXFreight L13x,“ Metrilus GmbH has added a new technology for the automated measurement of packages and shipping bags to its platform. This system aims to optimize the capture of smaller shipments and offers applications both as a tabletop system and as a conveyor system, as the company reports. The technology enables the conversion of physical freight movements into digital logistics data.

According to the manufacturer, the „MetriXFreight L13x system“ captures important parameters such as weight, volume, and dimensions of shipments in real time. This automated data collection is intended to increase transparency in the flow of goods and reduce manual effort.
