Jul 16, 2026 at 2:32 PMKuehne+Nagel is advancing digitalization in the field of Contract Logistics by developing the warehouse management system KN SwiftLOG into a cloud-based platform with agentic AI. This transformation spans over 1,000 locations in nearly 100 countries and represents one of the most comprehensive overhauls of warehouse operations in the logistics industry.
The new platform is based on the Warehouse Management Solution from Blue Yonder, which is part of the company’s cognitive solutions. This integration allows KN SwiftLOG to be incorporated into a unified, cloud-based environment while continuing to function as Kuehne+Nagel’s established warehouse management system. The global rollout began in April 2026 and will be implemented gradually to ensure continuity of services. As the implementation progresses, it will enable scaling of operations that helps address the increasing complexity of supply chains and the evolving demands of customers.
Eduardo Razuck, Executive Vice President for Contract Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, states: “The evolution of KN SwiftLOG into a cloud-based platform allows us to link operations, data, and workflows across various locations more effectively. Given the increasing complexity of supply chains, efficiency remains a critical factor for the adoption of cloud-based solutions. This transformation supports consistent execution at scale and helps us respond more quickly to customer demands while maintaining reliable service delivery.”
The platform lays the foundation for more efficient and coordinated operations within the network by connecting warehouse activities with data-driven insights and intelligent automation. This enables more accurate planning, better visibility, and faster responses to disruptions. For customers, this means consistent execution across various locations while maintaining the stable operations they currently experience. The first customer deployment is planned for July 2026 in Asia.
Duncan Angove, CEO of Blue Yonder, emphasizes: “Together, Kuehne+Nagel and its customers will benefit from AI-driven execution and modern operational practices that enhance productivity, speed, and agility.” He adds: “The future of the supply chain belongs to those who can standardize globally, make faster decisions, and adapt to the pace of disruptions.”
