The global real estate service provider CBRE has appointed Frank Schönfelder as the new Senior Director and Team Lead for the Industrial & Logistics Leasing sector in the German East region. Schönfelder will begin his role on March 1, 2026, succeeding Mirko Baumann, who will take on new responsibilities within the company. In his new position, Schönfelder will work from Leipzig and report to Sarina Schekahn, who will assume the role of Head of Industrial & Logistics Leasing Germany on April 1, 2026.
Schönfelder brings around eight years of experience in the industrial and logistics real estate sector. Most recently, he served as Director Logistics & Industrial Advisory at BNP Paribas Real Estate GmbH since 2018.
Strategic Strengthening of the Team
Kai F. Oulds, Head of Industrial & Logistics Germany at CBRE, expressed positive remarks about Schönfelder’s appointment: “With Frank Schönfelder, we have gained an experienced and recognized team leader for the East region. With this appointment, CBRE continues its growth trajectory in the Industrial & Logistics Leasing sector. Last year, the company already expanded its teams in other key regions.
