Daan van der Meer leads DACHSER Logistics Center Allgäu
Jul 6, 2026 at 1:51 PMWith the beginning of July 2026, Ing. Mag. Lukas Burianek (l.) has taken over the management of Ennshafen OÖ GmbH. He succeeds DI Dr. Werner Auer, who is retiring after a long and successful career. Dr. Auer has significantly contributed to the development of Ennshafen in recent years, making it one of the most important trimodal logistics hubs in Austria.
Under Dr. Auer’s leadership, the infrastructure of Ennshafen has been continuously expanded, and the range of services has been enhanced. Furthermore, the position of the location in European freight transport has been solidified. These successes have made Ennshafen an important hub for goods traffic.
Strategic direction under new leadership
Burianek brings extensive experience to the company and will continue to drive the strategic and operational development of Ennshafen. A central concern of his new role is the expansion of infrastructure. In addition, he plans to promote sustainable transport solutions both by rail and by water.
„My goal is to continue to position Ennshafen as a reliable partner for the shipping industry and our tenants, while also expanding it to be economically strong and ecologically sustainable,“ explains Burianek. This objective aims to further establish Ennshafen as a modern logistics and business location and to secure its competitiveness.
The handover of management marks an important step in the further development of Ennshafen, which must assert itself in a dynamic market environment. The coming years will be crucial for how the location positions itself in the international comparison.
