
Stuttgart loses KN Jumbo to Frankfurt

This restructuring aims to lay the foundation for the company’s future growth. With an expanded Executive Leadership Team, the goal is to anchor responsibility more broadly within the company and increase customer proximity in all markets. LIS positions itself as a solution provider for the logistics industry.
As part of this realignment, Jan-Frederik Mecklenbrauck (left) has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He will be responsible for the strategic development of the corporate group alongside CEO Rob Schreurs (middle) and Rolf Hansmann (right), Co-Chief Executive Officer (Co-CEO). Additionally, Jill Trösser has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Philipp Neuser has been named Director WMS. Together with Schreurs, Hansmann, Mecklenbrauck, Markus Berkemeier (Chief Operating Officer), Boris Melnik (Managing Director France), Krzysztof Suchoński (Managing Director Poland), and Jos Zomer (Managing Director Netherlands), they will form the international Executive Leadership Team of LIS.
Modern leadership approaches and personal responsibility
LIS pursues a decentralized leadership approach with the new structure, where decisions are made where the relevant expertise is available. This is intended to promote personal responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking in all areas and countries. CEO Schreurs emphasizes that the new leadership structure creates the organizational basis for the company’s international growth and fosters a corporate culture based on initiative and close collaboration.
Co-CEO Hansmann highlights that transformation, technological innovation, and customer proximity are central factors for success in the international logistics industry. The new Executive Leadership Team aims to establish clear responsibilities and strengthen the strategic development of solutions and markets.
LIS views the new organizational structure as a starting point for comprehensive further development. The company plans to position itself as internationally scalable and technologically strong while emphasizing customer proximity.
Integration of solutions for the logistics industry
LIS adopts the approach of offering its customers integrated solutions for the challenges of international logistics. Through closer collaboration among teams and country organizations, not only software solutions will be provided, but also comprehensive solutions for logistical challenges will be developed. Schreurs explains that the company aims to evolve from a software provider to a solution provider.
