MS Direct, a provider of e-commerce fulfillment and cross-border logistics, has now released an app in the Shopify App Store that allows merchants to connect their online store directly with MS Direct’s fulfillment warehouses. This solution aims to optimize and simplify the entire fulfillment process.
Optimization of Logistics Processes
With the growth of a Shopify store, logistical challenges often arise. Many merchants find themselves needing to professionalize their shipping processes, as self-organized shipping can no longer keep pace with growth. Orders and inventory are often managed in different systems, leading to a lack of overview. Additionally, returns and international deliveries, which are associated with customs and tax issues, can quickly overwhelm small teams.
The new app from MS Direct aims to address these challenges. „With the app, Shopify merchants connect their shop directly to our warehouse management system. Orders, inventory, and tracking updates are synchronized in real-time. This way, merchants gain transparency over their entire fulfillment process from day one, without manual data transfer,“ explains Philipp Röthlin, Head of Customer Success Management & Product Fulfillment at MS Direct.
Features and Benefits of the App
The app offers a range of key features that support the fulfillment process. Merchants receive a real-time overview of inventory, orders, and tracking status directly in the Shopify app. Furthermore, they can choose between various warehouse locations in Switzerland and Germany, with the solution scalable from 250 shipments per month.
The app also provides access to national and international shipping rates through established carrier networks. Additional services include customizations, set assembly, and individual special packaging. A comprehensive returns management system is also offered, which includes the complete handling of returns, including clarification cases and automatic inventory updates. Additionally, merchants have a Customer Success Manager available to assist them during onboarding and as they grow.
With this new app, MS Direct aims to help e-commerce merchants optimize their logistics processes and thus promote the growth of their businesses.
