May 19, 2026 at 4:05 PMThe 14th GLA Global Logistics Conference in Shenzhen brought together more than 2,000 logistics companies from over 130 countries in early May. The focus of the event was on international partnerships, digital networking, and new approaches to strengthening global supply chains.
Under the motto „Strengthening Resilience, Deepening Collaboration, Creating Value,“ representatives from logistics, business, and politics discussed the increasing challenges in international trade and global supply chains. These include geopolitical tensions, rising regulatory requirements, and the growing complexity of cross-border transportation.
Part of the conference included the Global Supply Chain CEO Forum, the Women in Logistics Leadership Forum, as well as extensive business matchmaking meetings with more than 100,000 planned individual discussions. Concurrently, over 200 exhibitors presented new technologies and digital solutions for international logistics.
A key focus was the introduction of the new „GLA Global Logistics Smart Ecosystem.“ The platform aims to support companies worldwide in digital networking, business initiation, and the exchange of capacities and services. This is complemented by digital tools and a credit rating system for network partners.
The conference thus underscores the trend that international logistics networks are increasingly relying on digital platforms, global cooperation, and resilient supply chains to respond to volatile markets and geopolitical uncertainties.
