The commercial vehicle manufacturer Man Truck & Bus started fiscal 2026 with significant improvements. Revenues, earnings and sales in the first quarter were above the previous year’s level, confirming an ongoing upward trend.
Revenues rose by 8 % to EUR 3.3 billion. At the same time, sales increased by 14 % to 23,600 vehicles. The truck segment performed particularly well, with a growth of 21 %. The order intake reached the previous year’s level, with 27,850 units.
The operating result also improved significantly to EUR 239 million. The operating margin was 7.2%. Despite this development, the outlook remains cautious, largely due to geopolitical uncertainties.
Electric vehicle sales also grew significantly, rising by 44 % to 540 units.
