Hoffmann also received a comprehensive insight into the operational processes of Drewes Logistics GmbH at the Port of Bremen. As part of the visit, further discussions on crisis logistics were agreed upon to deepen collaboration in this important area. Drewes Logistics GmbH specializes in global solutions for freight forwarding and project logistics. The company has particularly focused on the shipping of bulk goods and break-bulk cargo, as well as multimodal project logistics, including heavy and oversized transports.

In addition to tasks in road traffic, BALM also takes on coordinating functions to ensure the supply of the population, the economy, and the armed forces. With the inclusion of the Drewes Group, the network of the Federal Transport Organization, consisting of over 1,200 high-performing transport and logistics companies, is further strengthened.
