New Managing Director for Elflein logistics division
Apr 14, 2026 at 1:41 PMThe logistics service provider Dachser achieved a revenue of approximately 8.3 billion euros in the fiscal year 2025, representing an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the previous year. This marks a new record for the company, as it reports. The transported tonnage rose to 46.7 million metric tons, corresponding to a growth of 5.8 percent. The number of deliveries also increased to 86.2 million, reflecting a rise of 3.6 percent.
Acquisitions as growth drivers
A key factor for the growth was the integration of several acquisitions, including DACHSER & FERCAM Italia in Italy, Brummer in Southern Germany and Austria, as well as Frigoskandien in the Nordic countries. These acquisitions contributed fully to the revenue of the Dachser Group for the first time in 2025. Without these acquisitions, the company would have reported only a growth of 0.3 percent compared to the previous year, according to its own statements.
In 2025, the company invested around 325 million euros in expanding its network, training its employees, as well as in digital solutions and climate protection measures. Burkhard Eling, CEO of Dachser, emphasizes the importance of these investments: “We continuously invest in our network. Especially in challenging times, it is more important than ever to steadfastly maintain our strategic course and continue our mission to become the world’s most integrated logistics service provider.”
