According to a statement from Gebrüder Weiss, the company has been included in the G75 list of Green Supply Chain Partners, which is published annually by Inbound Logistics. This list honors logistics service providers and supply chain companies that demonstrate a commitment to ecological sustainability.
Gebrüder Weiss integrates sustainability into its global transport and logistics network: The company’s efforts include alternative drive technologies, low-emission freight solutions, and investments in renewable energies. The company relies on multimodal transport strategies and continuously expands its electric fleet. Innovations include electric vehicles, hydrogen-powered trucks, and electric last-mile delivery vehicles. Additionally, HVO100 is used as fuel. Furthermore, customers of Gebrüder Weiss have access to sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and marine fuel solutions that, according to the company, enable lower-emission air and sea freight transport.
