May 28, 2026 at 9:21 AMVision Marine Technologies has activated the „E-Motion“ data platform: The new platform is intended to enable an analysis of powertrain data derived from the real-world use of electric high-voltage marine propulsion technology, as the company reports. This includes performance, diagnostic, usage, and behavioral data that will be used to improve product predictability and identify preventive maintenance opportunities.
Maintenance and Customer Retention
According to the statement from Vision Marine Technologies, the „E-Motion“ data platform will help provide technical personnel with more accurate diagnostic information and support warranty verification through an operational history. The platform is designed to enable the company to proactively schedule maintenance by contacting customers based on the actual usage of the powertrain. This includes maintenance intervals for underwater components and system checks identified through the collected operational data.
