cargo-partner has expanded its air freight offering with a new charter service from Hong Kong to Europe. Starting now, three weekly charter flights from Hong Kong (HKG) to Budapest (BUD) and Warsaw (WAW) are being offered. This service is particularly aimed at companies in the automotive and high-tech/electronics industries that rely on fast and reliable transport solutions.
The new Hong Kong Consol service ensures secured capacities and express handling for time-sensitive shipments from Hong Kong and China to Europe. cargo-partner collaborates with a premium carrier to ensure the availability of cargo space even during peak season. The service includes both the pre-carriage from any location in Hong Kong and China as well as last-mile delivery to destinations in Europe.
Patrick Petznek, Corporate Product Manager Air Cargo at cargo-partner, emphasizes the relevance of the new offering: “Our new Hong Kong Consol is a direct response to our customers‘ need for fast, reliable, and secure transport solutions for time-sensitive shipments.” He highlights that this expansion of the air freight portfolio provides a competitive advantage and supports the robustness of customers‘ supply chains.
Response to Increasing Freight Volume
The new service responds to an increase in intra-European freight volume from Asian countries, including China, India, Vietnam, Taiwan, and Thailand. cargo-partner serves these markets with regular air freight connections and currently operates nearly 100 weekly Consol services worldwide. These cover the entire process from pre-carriage to delivery and are based on an established network with hubs in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Beijing, as well as in Vienna, Budapest, and Frankfurt.
Another focus of cargo-partner is the Indian market, where the company has been active since 2006.
