Jan 27, 2026 at 8:13 AMLeschaco has appointed Emile Goossens as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective April 1, 2026. He succeeds Lutz Weber, who will conclude his interim role at the end of 2025 after successfully supporting the company during a critical transformation phase.
Emile Goossens brings over 30 years of international experience in the logistics industry. Most recently, he served as CFO for Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg at DB Schenker, where he led a finance organization with 30 employees across 30 locations and supported more than 3,400 employees. His career path combines extensive financial expertise with broad management experience, including a nine-month tenure as interim CEO of DB Schenker Benelux.
Throughout his career, Goossens has successfully implemented numerous complex transformation projects, integrated financial functions into shared service structures, and implemented modern reporting and IT systems. He has a proven track record of sustainably improving the financial performance of demanding business units through disciplined financial management, transparent governance, and close collaboration with operational teams. His leadership style is characterized by integrity, clarity, and a strong focus on employees, which aligns closely with the values and long-term goals of Leschaco.
The appointment comes at a time when Leschaco is continuously advancing the implementation of its 2030 strategy, introduced in 2021, and is making increasingly visible progress in transforming its business model, organizational structure, and corporate culture. The selection process for the CFO position was specifically aimed at ensuring stability and long-term continuity.
