Jun 22, 2026 at 11:44 AMThe air freight service provider TCE, based in Frankfurt/Main, has renewed its contract with Air Transat and is also supporting the introduction of a new route to Brazil by the Canadian airline.
Sarah Scheibe, Managing Director of TCE, explained that the company provides airlines and air freight GSAs with a comprehensive service offering regarding air freight security, quality, and monitoring. „We have been working with Air Transat since 2019, but starting in 2026, we will take full management of the carrier as part of our Total Cargo Management concept with an expanded freight management scope. The renewed agreement strengthens our long-term collaboration and expands the service offering with a comprehensive approach to freight management,“ said Scheibe.
Together with the partner GSAs of the Global GSA Group and the ECS Group, TCE offers air freight services for Air Transat in various markets worldwide, including France, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Kingdom. This year, new countries such as Brazil, Iceland, Morocco, and Senegal have been added, further expanding the global freight network.
The Brazilian operations currently include three weekly flights operated with the Airbus A330, offering a freight capacity of over 12 tons per flight. The route supports a variety of goods, including general cargo, automotive deliveries, and perishable goods.
Scheibe emphasized that the partnership has evolved into a closer and more integrated cooperation since the beginning of their collaboration. „Increased transparency, stronger operational insights, and excellent teamwork among all involved companies have been key factors for the success of the partnership,“ she explained.
The renewed agreement focuses on strengthening the partnership, growing strategically together, expanding the freight network, and further developing specific cargo segments.
TCE, which stands for Total Cargo Management, offers airlines a fully integrated freight solution that combines commercial performance with structured operational oversight. As a true extension of each airline’s organization, TCE aims to ensure seamless coordination, end-to-end visibility, and continuous improvement throughout the entire freight chain.
