Simon Hegele Outsources Pharma Business to Its Own GmbH

The Simon Hegele Group has continuously expanded its competencies and capacities since entering the pharmaceutical business at the end of 2021 and is now laying the foundation for the successful further development of its business with pharmaceutical customers through additional personnel and organizational steps.

(Karlsruhe) The pharmaceutical sector will be established as an independent sector within the Simon Hegele Group due to its significance and will be placed under its own management. Kai Brandes will take over the management of the sector and the management of Simon Hegele Pharma Solutions GmbH. Mr. Brandes brings extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and supply chain industry, including his previous leadership positions at internationally active companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Merck, BioNTech, and Frigo-Trans. “In the last three years, we have stored and shipped medications for several hundred million patients. We are confident that we can provide added value here and therefore want to strategically expand the area further. We are very pleased that we were able to engage Kai Brandes, a successful manager and expert in the pharmaceutical industry.
