The logistics service provider is making a conscious statement during these uncertain times and relies on its employees to keep Dachser’s efficient network and global supply chains running.
(Kempten) This year, the most sought-after training positions among young people are those of freight forwarding and logistics services clerk and warehouse specialist. “Training means long-term commitment for us. Therefore, even in challenging times, we continue to focus on the qualification and promotion of our logistics talent,” says Dachser CEO Bernhard Simon. “Despite the Corona crisis, we are still hiring trainees and students because a good team of motivated and well-trained employees is essential for us.”
Across all years, around 1,800 aspiring logisticians are in training or pursuing a degree with Dachser. As a global player, the family-owned company prepares its young talents for international logistics and offers them a professional perspective in a future-proof and crisis-resistant industry.
Strong in the Training of Professional Drivers
The logistics service provider has also shown commendable commitment to the training and further education of professional drivers: 99 aspiring drivers, including 18 women, are currently starting their training with Dachser. Additionally, 42 drivers and five women completed their training in the summer of 2020, and 19 professional drivers underwent the partial qualification (TQ1) in commercial goods transport.
