Powerfleet Focuses on Workplace Accidents in Intralogistics
Jul 9, 2024 at 3:53 PMThe German Logistics Congress has been the meeting point for the logistics community for 40 years. The new event BVL Supply Chain CX connects this tradition with the future – from October 23-25, 2024, at the Estrel in Berlin. CX stands for Congress and Expo. Here, too, well-founded content, high-profile speakers, community building, and networking will be essential elements. At BVL Supply Chain CX, up to 5,000 participants from all company sizes and industries will meet: from top-level decision-makers to executives and team leaders, as well as young professionals and other supply chain enthusiasts.
(Bremen/Berlin) Top expertise in logistics and supply chain management will be available on 8 stages from over 160 speakers. A new feature is the distinction between a Congress and an Expo area. At the Congress, participants will discuss strategies and receive impulses for designing supply chains and logistical processes. Here, top decision-makers and all those interested in strategically oriented topics will gather. This includes the exclusive awarding of the German Logistics Prize and the subsequent CX Networking Night. The Congress ticket is an ‘All-in Ticket’ and includes Expo access as well as extensive catering.
In the new Expo, the CX focal topics will be addressed from an operational perspective. Concepts, best practices, and solution offerings will be presented on four stages. In masterclasses, workshops, and other talk formats, it will be shown and discussed how relevant topics can be implemented operationally. Above all, over 120 exhibitors will also be present. Expo is the combination of presentation, content, networking, and the big CX party – access with the new Expo ticket. The various ticket options also include day tickets for Congress and Expo for the first time.
“Empower to unite” is this year’s guiding principle of BVL Supply Chain CX. BVL Chairman Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Wimmer comments: “Making unity possible goes far beyond club life and addresses various groups: ourselves, as we connect the tried and tested with the new: the Congress with the Expo, the continuity of the association with the innovations of the time, the logistics sector that helps shape networks – across state and cultural borders, corporate and industry boundaries, as well as value chains, despite all disturbances. And the motto also refers to our society, which suffers under geopolitical upheavals, redistribution struggles, excessive bureaucracy, and national and ideologically shaped egos, and with which we want to provide positive impulses together with the logistics sector to try to work together.”

Further Focus on Networking
Networking: Moderated and at the bar. BVL Supply Chain CX enables personal exchange between decision-makers from industry, trade, and logistics services like no other event. Participants meet colleagues as well as existing and new contacts – across industries and hierarchies at the CX Connect Tables, through digital matchmaking, at the CX Party on Thursday, or at the CX Networking Night on Wednesday (exclusive for Congress participants).
German Logistics Prize
The awarding of the German Logistics Prize is also one of the highlights of the program at BVL Supply Chain CX, taking place on Wednesday evening during the Networking Night at the Estrel. The jury, chaired by Dr. Ursula Weidenfeld, honors exemplary concepts that have been developed and implemented despite all the adversities of recent months – particularly innovative and sustainable solutions will be awarded this prize to promote them and encourage imitation.
