Jun 15, 2026 at 9:30 AMThe Air Cargo Community Frankfurt e.V. (ACCF) elected a new board during its annual general meeting this year and reflects on a positive business year 2025. The association, which unites key players in the air freight location Frankfurt, focuses on close collaboration among its member companies.
New Board and Familiar Faces
The newly elected board consists of representatives from the four member groups of the association. The two founding members, Lufthansa Cargo AG (LCAG) and Fraport AG, each appoint one board member. Frank Bauer remains the representative of LCAG. At Fraport AG, there has been a change in the board: Dietmar Focke succeeds Dr. Pierre-Dominique Prümm. Focke, who was already active as a board member of LCAG in the association’s board, expressed positive sentiments about the community: “The energy and goal orientation of the Air Cargo Community Frankfurt have always impressed me. Therefore, I am very pleased to be back and look forward to close collaboration on the board and with our member companies.”
In the group of freight forwarders, Susanne Klingler-Werner from UPS Supply Chain Solutions GmbH & Co. KG was confirmed in her position. Michael Hoppe from BARIG e.V. remains as the representative of the airlines on the board. Patrik Tschirch from LUG aircargo handling GmbH represents the cargo handlers, while Christian Riege from Riege Software International GmbH was re-elected as the representative of other service providers. In the subsequent board meeting, Patrik Tschirch was confirmed as chairman and Christian Riege as deputy. The board is elected every two years.
Growth and New Projects
The general meeting also provided an opportunity to inform about current activities and strategic priorities of the association. The review of the business year 2025 was positive: The association was able to strengthen its economic base, which is attributed to continuous member growth, successful events, and the implementation of new projects. Last year, 20 new member companies joined the association, bringing the total number of members to 116.
Felix Toepsch, managing director of ACCF, emphasized the importance of the community: “As a community, we combine these strengths into a connected cargo competence at and for Frankfurt Airport. The successful last business year and the steadily ongoing member growth confirm our course and provide momentum for the tasks of the coming years.”
Outlook for the Air Cargo Conference 2026
The ACCF looks forward optimistically to the 11th Air Cargo Conference, which will take place on September 2 and 3, 2026. Following the great success of the last conference at Deutsche Bank Park Frankfurt, this year’s event will be held at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds to meet the increased demand.
