Unilode Aviation Solutions, headquartered in Switzerland, has selected XPO Logistics as its strategic global logistics partner. XPO Logistics, a provider of logistics solutions in Europe, will manage Unilode’s global operations in the short-term rental of air cargo equipment, digital tracking technology, critical spare parts, and capital goods. This partnership represents a significant expansion for XPO Logistics in the global aviation and aerospace sector.
Optimization of Logistics Processes
As part of the collaboration, XPO Logistics will coordinate Unilode’s global flows to ensure efficient planning and availability of equipment. XPO’s Global Connect Control Tower enables integrated planning of critical operations, allowing Unilode to optimize inventory and ensure that equipment arrives at the right place at the right time. This control center provides visibility and coordination around the clock across multiple time zones, enabling Unilode to proactively manage demand spikes and avoid operational disruptions.
XPO Logistics will provide Unilode with various services, including planning critical operations to optimize equipment availability, real-time visibility across all operational touchpoints, as well as digital tracking and IoT-enabled logistics solutions. These measures are designed to enhance control and traceability while offering sustainable logistics solutions that align with global decarbonization goals for aviation.
