Garbe Regeneration has acquired a vacant lot of approximately 40,000 square meters in Bielefeld from Thyssenkrupp Materials Services. The property on Arthur-Ladebeck-Strasse will be used as a distribution location by Thyssenkrupp Schulte until the end of 2026, before Garbe Regeneration takes over the area. Thyssenkrupp Schulte, a company within Thyssenkrupp Materials Services, plans to consolidate its activities in Bielefeld at the Südring location in the future.
Planned Use of the Site
Rick Mädel, Managing Director of Garbe Regeneration, commented on the plans for the area as follows: “We already have a building permit and ideas for the realization of the Garbe Industrial Park Bielefeld.” However, the company is still examining alternative usage options before a final decision is made. With this acquisition, Garbe Regeneration, which was founded in August 2025, aims to position itself in the land revitalization market. The company specializes in identifying vacant areas and preparing them for new uses.
