(Weinfelden/Kloten) Dünki Transporte AG, Kloten, joins the Hasler Transport Group, Weinfelden. Retroactively as of July 1, 2020, HASLER Transport AG, Weinfelden, acquires 100% of the shares of Dünki Transport AG, Kloten.
As of July 1, 2020, Dünki Transporte AG joins the Hasler Transport Group. The previous owner of the company, Beat Dünki, sells his shares to HASLER Transport AG, thus arranging for his succession. The Kloten location of Dünki Transporte AG, with its approximately 40 employees and 30 vehicles, will continue to operate. The contacts for customers remain unchanged. With Corinne Rodriguez, the third generation of the Dünki family joins the management of Dünki Transporte AG. With this acquisition, the Hasler Group strengthens its presence in the largest economic area of Switzerland and can expand its range of services in air freight and warehousing logistics.
Two family businesses come together
Founded in 1953, Dünki Transporte AG is a family-run transport and logistics company that serves demanding customers in the general cargo business, air freight, and full truckload transport. The company is leanly managed, operates close to customers, and is located in the logistics hotspot of Zurich. The company also holds the BAZL approval as a Regulated Agent for air freight. Dünki Transporte AG is thus the only independent or neutral air freight carrier in the Zurich area. Through the acquisition, Dünki Transporte AG can expand its service portfolio and respond even more promptly and flexibly to customer requests.
The Hasler Group currently employs nearly 200 staff and operates more than 120 vehicles daily. HASLER Transport AG transports and stores for around 400 customers, mostly based in Eastern Switzerland. In the competitive general cargo market, which is increasingly evolving towards an oligopoly, the family business has established itself in the third generation. In addition to highly reliable transport with distribution within 24 hours, it also provides services in the field of warehousing logistics. This sector is rapidly growing and was recently complemented by an additional warehouse building.
