This decision follows the appointment of several new executives, including Daniel Cohen as CEO, Patrick van Denzel as Chief Revenue Officer for shippers, and Olivier Gonon as Chief Revenue Officer for freight forwarders. Georgia Leybourne as Chief Marketing Officer and Leonard Bottelberghs as Chief of Staff are also new to the team. Christian Mayer and Julia Seidl are already serving as COO and CFO on the board.
Landau brings over 25 years of experience in the supply chain software industry. He previously held leadership positions at companies such as Manhattan Associates, BluJay Solutions, and Transporeon. Nikolay Pargov, Chairman of the Board of Alpega, emphasizes the importance of Landau’s expertise in executing the company’s mission. „David’s expertise will play a central role in helping Alpega fulfill our mission to make trust the foundation of modern freight transport,“ Pargov stated. He highlights that Landau’s industry expertise and network will further strengthen Alpega’s strategic pillars – transparency, reliability, and mutual value.
Landau himself comments on his new role, emphasizing Alpega’s significance in European logistics technology. „Alpega is uniquely positioned to become the trusted platform for transport execution,“ he said. He points to the combination of real-time data and the reach of Alpega’s networks, which is unique in the industry and forms the basis for unlocking the potential of artificial intelligence.
With the complete formation of the board, Alpega sees a solid foundation to further advance its corporate strategy and deepen collaboration across the system. The goal is to ensure more reliable freight execution on a large scale.
