Expansion of PASS Maps to Electric Vehicles
Apr 13, 2026 at 4:52 PMThe EPG (Ehrhardt Partner Group) has announced a partnership with Microsoft to advance the development of AI-driven supply chain technology. At the center of this collaboration is the AI-native platform EPG AURA, which will be provided via the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. This initiative aims to create a technological foundation for data-driven management of complex supply chains.
Partnership with Clear Benefits
Microsoft brings its established cloud and platform infrastructure to the partnership, while EPG draws on more than 35 years of experience in logistics and its comprehensive EPG ONE Supply Chain Execution Suite. The goal of the cooperation is to provide customers with greater added value by accelerating implementations and offering scalable architectures as well as flexible operating models. Companies are expected to benefit from global availability, high scalability, and a robust security architecture.
The integration of Microsoft Azure enables seamless incorporation into existing IT landscapes and accelerates the implementation of innovations, particularly in the area of AI-driven applications. In addition to its existing private cloud solution EPX-Hosting, EPG is expanding its offerings with SaaS services on Microsoft Azure, providing customers with greater flexibility regarding their compliance, performance, and scaling requirements.
Efficient Integration and Speech Technology
Another important aspect of the collaboration is the development of a standardized interface to Microsoft Dynamics, which facilitates integration between ERP systems and the EPG ONE Suite. Preconfigured interfaces are intended to reduce media disruptions and accelerate implementation. Furthermore, EPG Voice Solutions, such as LYDIA Voice, will be connected to Microsoft Dynamics solutions, optimizing voice-driven processes in logistics.
The cooperation also includes the integration of EPG AURA into the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly within Microsoft Teams. This integration brings relevant information directly into users‘ work environments, enabling faster decision-making and more efficient workflows along the supply chain.
Global Orientation and Future Perspectives
The partnership is globally oriented, allowing Microsoft and EPG to collaborate on international key accounts in the future. This enables a unified solution architecture across various countries and regions, providing customers with coordinated support from both companies.
Through this collaboration, EPG positions itself as an AI Frontier Company in the field of supply chain execution. With extensive process knowledge and innovative solutions for real-time monitoring and automation, EPG brings crucial competencies to the partnership. Peter Bollinger, CEO of EPG, emphasizes that the collaboration creates a scalable foundation for the deployment of operational AI in supply chain execution. Michael Locher-Tjoa from Microsoft highlights that EPG is actively involved in shaping the next development stage of AI-driven solutions in logistics.
