Vossloh has concluded a new framework agreement with Deutsche Bahn (DB) for the supply of large switch components. The contract, which is set for a duration of three years, includes deliveries until 2028 and also features two optional years. The agreement is divided into various feasibility solutions and encompasses components such as heart pieces, tongue devices, and individual parts for switches. Depending on the call-off behavior, the volume over the duration of up to five years could exceed the mark of 100 million euros, as Vossloh reports.

Oliver Schuster, CEO of Vossloh AG, emphasizes the significance of the new framework agreement for the existing collaboration with Deutsche Bahn. „With the new framework agreement, we continue the strong partnership with Deutsche Bahn and underscore Vossloh’s role as one of the leading providers of high-quality and technically demanding solutions in the rail system,“ explains Schuster. According to Schuster, Vossloh’s products are designed for durability, safety, and precision.
