Tijdens een forum van de aircargo club deutschland (acd) bespraken toonaangevende vertegenwoordigers van de sector de problemen die voortkomen uit onvoldoende digitalisering, een tekort aan chauffeurs en obstakels bij de invoering van elektrische vrachtwagens.<\/p>\n<p>De digitalisering in de luchtvracht loopt achter. Sarah Scheibe (l.), directeur van TCE (Total Cargo Expertise), benadrukte de noodzaak van snellere en flexibele processen. &#8222;Als we het over luchtvracht hebben, zijn snelheid en flexibiliteit centrale factoren. Het is belangrijk dat alle partners flexibel opereren en digitale interfaces hebben. Dit is nog sterk uitbouwbaar en zou waardevolle tijd kunnen besparen,&#8220; verklaarde ze. Deze uitspraak maakt duidelijk dat de sector in de digitale transformatie nog niet het gewenste niveau heeft bereikt.<\/p>\n<h3>Uitdagingen door tekort aan chauffeurs en kosten<\/h3>\n<p>Een ander centraal thema was het acute tekort aan chauffeurs, dat de sector extra belast. Christine Reischl (M.), directeur van de Georg Reischl Spedition, wees erop dat de eisen aan beroepschauffeurs zijn gestegen. &#8222;Tegenwoordig is een beroepskwalificatie nodig in plaats van alleen een rijbewijs, wat de kosten voor aanstaande beroepschauffeurs verhoogt,&#8220; legde ze uit. Dit leidt tot stijgende kosten voor de wervingsprocessen. Sarah Scheibe voegde toe dat het belangrijk is om niet alleen de kosten in de gaten te houden, maar ook oplossingen te vinden om de concurrentiekracht van de luchtvrachtlocatie Duitsland te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>De discussie over de transitie naar e-mobiliteit toonde aan dat veel bedrijven bereid zijn om zich sterker te positioneren. De uitdagingen voor de uitvoering blijven echter hoog. E-vrachtwagens zijn duur, en de noodzakelijke laadinfrastructuur ontbreekt op veel plaatsen. Nina Strippel (r.), directeur van Wallenborn Germany, merkte op dat voor tijdkritische internationale RFS-verkeersstromen oplossingen nodig zijn die vandaag de dag operationeel betrouwbaar zijn. &#8222;Duurzaamheid mag niet alleen aan het voertuig worden gemeten, maar ook aan de bezettingsgraad, lege ritten, wachttijden, brandstofopties en planbare netwerken,&#8220; aldus Strippel.<\/p>\n<h3>Politieke ondersteuning gevraagd<\/h3>\n<p>In de daaropvolgende discussie werd de politiek gevraagd om de sector sterker bij beslissingen te betrekken en zich in te zetten voor uniforme regelgeving op EU-niveau. Prof. Dr. Christopher Stoller, voorzitter van de air cargo club Deutschland, benadrukte de noodzaak om de RFS-aanbieders en de gehele luchtvrachtketen niet onnodig te belasten. &#8222;De luchtvrachtlocatie Duitsland staat voor grote uitdagingen. Hiervoor hebben we sterke RFS-aanbieders, expediteurs en andere betrokkenen in de luchtvrachtketen nodig die actief oplossingen aandrijven en daarbij ook de noodzakelijke politieke ondersteuning krijgen om de stagnatie op te lossen,&#8220; voegde hij toe.<\/p>\n<p>De discussie maakt duidelijk dat er dringende actie nodig is om de concurrentiekracht van de luchtvrachtlocatie Duitsland te
