De Kellner & Kunz AG, een internationaal handels- en dienstverleningsbedrijf, zet haar automatiseringsstrategie voort met ondersteuning van Infios. De aanbieder van Intelligent Supply Chain Execution zal geavanceerde robotica integreren in de inbound-logistiek. Deze maatregel is de volgende stap in een langdurige samenwerking, die in 2019 begon met de implementatie van het Infios Warehouse Management (WM) en het Warehouse Control System (WCS) in het logistiek centrum in Wels. Deze systemen vormen de digitale basis voor de geleidelijke uitbreiding van de automatisering.<\/p>\n

Kellner & Kunz heeft zich gespecialiseerd in C-onderdelenbeheer voor verschillende sectoren, waaronder industrie, ambacht en de automobielsector. De door Infios WM en WCS ge\u00efntegreerde procesketen van de goederenontvangst tot de geautomatiseerde levering in de productievestigingen van de klanten vormt een belangrijk kenmerk in de concurrerende markt van gereedschappen en C-onderdelenlogistiek. Momenteel beheert het bedrijf ongeveer 120.000 artikelen uit een breed assortiment, waarbij dagelijks tot 5.000 leveringen volledig automatisch worden afgehandeld. Deze cijfers benadrukken de relevantie van een hoogge\u00efntegreerde en flexibele automatiseringsomgeving voor een effici\u00ebnte bevoorrading.<\/p>\n

In het kader van een uitgebreide investering van 45 miljoen euro in de locatie Wels heeft Kellner & Kunz de Infios-software ge\u00efmplementeerd om centrale gebieden van de automatisering te beheren en de operationele prestaties te verbeteren. De logistieke installatie omvat een hoogbouwmagazijn met 15.400 palletplaatsen en 200.000 containerplaatsen, aangevuld met autonome transportvoertuigen en moderne transporttechniek. Sinds de ingebruikname ligt de focus op de continue optimalisatie van de processen en de geleidelijke integratie van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n

Integratie van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn<\/h3>\n

Walter Bostelmann, CEO van Kellner & Kunz, benadrukt de voordelen van het Infios-platform: \u201eDe flexibele en modulaire architectuur van het Infios-platform stelt ons in staat om indien nodig nieuwe automatiseringstechnologie\u00ebn in te voeren en deze naadloos in onze bestaande logistieke processen te integreren.\u201c In de recente optimalisatiefase heeft Infios binnen vier weken de software-integratie van een knikarmrobot met vacu\u00fcmgrijper voor het depalettiseren van goederenontvangsten gerealiseerd. Deze oplossing verbetert de effici\u00ebntie en ergonomie aanzienlijk in vergelijking met handmatige verwerking, aangezien deze in staat is om tot zes eenheden met een gewicht van maximaal 25 kg gelijktijdig te hanteren.<\/p>\n

De implementatie van de robot markeert het begin van verdere integraties in het kader van een continu optimalisatieprogramma dat gericht is op het verhogen van effici\u00ebntie en schaalbaarheid. Toekomstige automatiseringen zijn al in planning, waaronder de oprichting van een tweede depalettiseringsstation en de integratie van robotica ter ondersteuning van aanvulprocessen.<\/p>\n
