Het doel van dit partnerschap is om de douaneafhandeling voor internationaal opererende logistieke bedrijven tussen het Verenigd Koninkrijk, Duitsland en Zwitserland te optimaliseren. Beide bedrijven behoren volgens een mededeling van DAKOSY tot de toonaangevende aanbieders van douanesoftware in hun respectieve landen en reageren met deze samenwerking op de gestegen eisen in de handel na de Brexit.<\/p>\n<h3>Verhoogde eisen na de Brexit<\/h3>\n<p>Sinds de uittreding van het Verenigd Koninkrijk uit de Europese Unie is de inspanning voor de douaneafhandeling tussen het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Duitsland toegenomen. In het bijzonder de documentatieverplichtingen vormen volgens DAKOSY nieuwe uitdagingen voor bedrijven. Voor elke zending is een volledige douaneaangifte vereist, die zowel invoer- als uitvoerprocessen omvat. Bovendien moeten veiligheidsverklaringen vooraf elektronisch worden verzonden.<\/p>\n<p>De samenwerking tussen DAKOSY en iCustoms is gericht op het voldoen aan deze verhoogde eisen: door de ontwikkeling van slimme interfaces tussen de twee platforms wordt het de klanten mogelijk gemaakt om een digitaal douaneproces te gebruiken. Dit betekent dat uitvoeraangiften uit Duitsland of Zwitserland geautomatiseerd kunnen worden omgezet in invoeraangiften voor het Verenigd Koninkrijk.
