De uitbreiding omvat al in gebruik zijnde opslagruimten van meer dan 30.000 m\u00b2, evenals nog eens 130.000 m\u00b2 die in de komende twee jaar in Maleisi\u00eb en Thailand in gebruik zullen worden genomen.<\/p>\n<h3>Reactie op groeiende vraag<\/h3>\n<p>De beslissing om uit te breiden is volgens DHL een reactie op de snelle groei van datacenters in de regio. Prognoses wijzen uit dat de Azi\u00eb-Pacific-regio tegen 2030 een van de belangrijkste centra voor datacenters wereldwijd zal worden. Verwacht wordt dat de regio tegen 2030 investeringen van ongeveer 800 miljard dollar (ongeveer 730 miljard euro) zal aantrekken.
