De installatie van zes Vectura-rekbedieningssystemen in het nieuwe distributiecentrum van Lebkuchen-Schmidt in Neurenberg is succesvol afgerond. Dit markeert een belangrijke vooruitgang in het kader van een groot project dat de integratie en inbedrijfstelling van de geautomatiseerde logistieke systemen tot doel heeft. De nieuwe oplossing moet het bedrijf in staat stellen om ook onder extreme seizoensgebonden eisen een hoge prestaties te waarborgen.<\/p>\n

Lebkuchen-Schmidt opereert in twee verschillende fasen: Tijdens de lente- en zomermaanden ligt de focus op de afhandeling van exportproducten. In de periode voor Kerstmis is de orderpicking van meer dan 2.000 dozen per uur voor de bevoorrading van de eigen filialen en de wereldwijde verzending van pakketten cruciaal.<\/p>\n

Geautomatiseerde oplossingen voor seizoenspieken<\/h3>\n

De Vectura-rekbedieningssystemen zijn ontworpen voor de geautomatiseerde palletbeheersing in beide fasen. Het nieuwe hoogbouwmagazijn omvat vier dubbel-diepe en twee meer-diepe geconfigureerde Vectura S32, die in totaal ongeveer 24.400 opslagplaatsen bieden bij een hoogte van 35 m. Elke transporteenheid kan tot 1.000 kg dragen.<\/p>\n

Het magazijnbeheersysteem SynQ co\u00f6rdineert alle handmatige, gedeeltelijk en volledig geautomatiseerde processen in het logistieke centrum, inclusief de rekbedieningssystemen, transporttechniek en het AutoStore-systeem voor de e-commerce sector. Deze uitgebreide integratie moet Lebkuchen-Schmidt in staat stellen om seizoenspieken te beheersen en tegelijkertijd de groei in e-commerce te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n

Duurzame logistieke oplossingen<\/h3>\n

Kirill Heidt, logistiek en locatiebeheerder van Lebkuchen-Schmidt GmbH & Co. KG, benadrukt het belang van de rekbedieningssystemen voor de toekomst van de logistieke operaties van het bedrijf. „Dit systeem is een centrale component voor het veiligstellen van de toekomst van onze logistieke operaties. Het zal ons in staat stellen om onze processen aanzienlijk effici\u00ebnter en krachtiger te maken,“ legt Heidt uit.<\/p>\n

Markus Kirchhoff, Senior Vice President Sales & Accounts EMEA bij Swisslog, benadrukt dat de installatie van de rekbedieningssystemen de kracht van het bedrijf aantoont om ge\u00efntegreerde oplossingen voor complexe logistieke eisen te leveren. „Bij Lebkuchen-Schmidt combineren we Vectura voor betrouwbare palletbeheersing, AutoStore voor hoge e-commerce doorvoeren en SynQ voor de aansturing van alle processen,“ aldus Kirchhoff.<\/p>\n

Het nieuwe distributiecentrum verenigt zes tot nu toe gedecentraliseerde magazijnen op \u00e9\u00e9n centrale locatie, wat leidt tot effici\u00ebntere logistieke processen en het veiligstellen van banen in Neurenberg. De Vectura-rekbedieningssystemen moeten het energieverbruik met tot 20 procent verlagen in vergelijking met traditionele hoogbouwmagazijnen. Bovendien wordt er een zeer effici\u00ebnte zonnepaneleninstallatie op het dak geplaatst om de duurzaamheid van de operatie te verhogen.<\/p>\n

De montage van het hoogbouwmagazijn verloopt volgens planning, ondanks de uitdagingen die de wintermaanden met zich meebrengen. Na de succesvolle installatie van de Vectura-systemen worden nu de mechanische en elektrische componenten ge\u00efntegreerd om het totale systeem in gebruik te nemen. Verdere oplossingen van Swisslog, zoals ProMove- en QuickMove- transportsystemen en een AutoStore-systeem met ongeveer 17.000 containers, maken ook deel uit van het project. De voltooiing van het nieuwe distributiecentrum is gepland voor het eerste kwartaal van 2027.<\/p>\n
