Ongeveer 250 professionals uit de industrie, logistiek, wetenschap en politiek kwamen gisteravond in Keulen samen voor de vierde „Logistik Dialog Rheinland“ om de uitdagingen en kansen van de huidige economische situatie te bespreken. Het evenement werd georganiseerd door HGK Logistics and Intermodal GmbH (HGK LI) en richtte zich vooral op de rol van logistiek in tijden van instabiele toeleveringsketens en geopolitieke spanningen.<\/p>\n

Logistiek als strategische partner<\/h3>\n

In zijn openingsrede benadrukte Markus Kr\u00e4mer (foto), CEO van HGK LI, de noodzaak van een nauwere samenwerking tussen industrie en logistiek. Hij pleitte voor een „einde aan de afstand“ tussen deze twee gebieden en benadrukte dat het niet langer voldoende is om alleen effici\u00ebnt te werken. „We moeten veerkrachtig worden. Hiervoor hebben we een nieuw begrip van logistiek nodig: als partner op gelijke hoogte. De sleutel ligt in gezamenlijk handelen,“ aldus Kr\u00e4mer.<\/p>\n

De economische uitdagingen werden ook besproken door prof. dr. Torsten Schmidt van het Leibniz-Institut f\u00fcr Wirtschaftsforschung. In zijn keynote schetste hij de conjuncturele moeilijkheden en noemde tegelijkertijd aanknopingspunten voor toekomstige groei. „We bevinden ons in een moeilijke fase, maar we kunnen hieruit komen. Voorwaarde is dat de productiviteit in Duitsland toeneemt,“ verklaarde Schmidt en pleitte voor meer investeringen in de infrastructuur en een vermindering van consumptieve uitgaven.<\/p>\n

Discussie over veerkracht en randvoorwaarden<\/h3>\n

In een daaropvolgende paneldiscussie, gemodereerd door Gesa Eberl van NTV, wisselden experts uit de economie, wetenschap en politiek van gedachten over de noodzaak om de samenwerking tussen bedrijven te veranderen om veerkrachtiger te worden. Deelnemers waren onder anderen dr. Sebastian C. Schulte, CEO van Deutz AG, en dr. Nicole Gr\u00fcnewald, hoofd van de IHK K\u00f6ln. Schulte benadrukte het toenemende belang van logistiek voor bedrijven en de samenleving: „Logistiek is voor bedrijven een strategisch bezit.“<\/p>\n

Een centraal resultaat van de discussie was de oproep tot aanpassing van de randvoorwaarden in Duitsland en de EU om de economische locatie te versterken. De hoge energieprijzen en de complexe regelgeving werden als belemmeringen ge\u00efdentificeerd. Deutz-CEO Schulte pleitte voor meer moed en zelfvertrouwen in de Duitse economie: „Als sporter ga je ook aan de start om te winnen. We kunnen zoveel meer!“<\/p>\n

Initiatief ter bevordering van talent en innovaties<\/h3>\n

Tot slot kondigde Markus Kr\u00e4mer de introductie van een landelijke „Logistik Award“ aan, die samen met partners wordt georganiseerd. Deze prijs is gericht op studenten van logistiek gerelateerde opleidingen en moet innovatieve wetenschappelijke werken over onderwerpen zoals multimodaliteit, duurzaamheid en moderne supply chains belonen. Het doel is om de ontwikkeling van intermodale concepten te bevorderen en de verschuiving van goederenstromen naar spoor en waterwegen te ondersteunen.<\/p>\n

Het evenement bood de deelnemers bovendien de gelegenheid om in een aansluitende netwerkborrel de discussies te verdiepen en nieuwe contacten te leggen.<\/p>\n
