Ongeveer 250 gasten uit politiek en bedrijfsleven waren aanwezig bij de viering, waaronder Wolfram Senger-Weiss, de voorzitter van de directie, de gouverneur van Vorarlberg, Markus Wallner, en de burgemeester van Wolfurt, Angelika Moosbrugger. Tijdens de opening werd een pallet met geschenken uit het volledig geautomatiseerde hoogbouwmagazijn uitgeleverd en op het podium overhandigd.<\/p>\n<p>In zijn toespraak benadrukte Senger-Weiss het strategische belang van de nieuwe locatie. Hij onderstreepte dat het logistieke en IT-centrum is ontworpen voor proces effici\u00ebntie en langdurige groei. &#8222;Met deze locatie zetten we een centrale ontwikkelingsstap voor ons bedrijf. We investeren bewust in een economisch uitdagende omgeving en cre\u00ebren een infrastructuur die voor decennia is ontworpen,&#8220; zei Senger-Weiss. Hij legde uit dat de nauwe verwevenheid van logistiek en IT het mogelijk maakt om processen gericht verder te ontwikkelen en de toeleveringsketens voor de klanten transparanter en stabieler te maken.<\/p>\n<h3>Belangrijke knooppunt voor internationale goederenstromen<\/h3>\n<p>De nieuwe locatie moet ook de rol van Vorarlberg als knooppunt van internationale goederenstromen versterken. Gouverneur Wallner benadrukte het belang van het project voor de regio: &#8222;Deze investering is een duidelijke bevestiging van de economische locatie Vorarlberg. Een krachtige logistiek is de ruggengraat van onze exportgerichte economie en versterkt onze bedrijven in de internationale concurrentie.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Het logistieke en IT-centrum beslaat een oppervlakte van ongeveer 31.000 m\u00b2 en volgt een ge\u00efntegreerd bouwconcept. De verticale indeling van logistieke, kantoor- en technische ruimtes moet de beperkte ruimtebronnen in het Rijnvallei effici\u00ebnt benutten. Het hoogbouwmagazijn biedt plaats voor 68.000 pallets en wordt aangevuld met een handmatig magazijn en een drie verdiepingen tellend kantoorgebouw, waarin ongeveer 400 werkplekken worden gecre\u00eberd.<\/p>\n<h3>Automatisering en effici\u00ebntie<\/h3>\n<p>Het hart van de installatie is een 34 meter hoog hoogbouwmagazijn met 13 opslaggangen, dat beschikt over een volledig ge\u00efntegreerd intralogistiek systeem. Per uur kunnen tot 160 pallets worden ingeladen en 200 pallets worden uitgeleverd. Daarmee behoort het logistieke centrum tot de grotere volledig geautomatiseerde installaties in Europa. Tot de gebruikte technologie\u00ebn behoren automatische opslag- en retrievalsystemen, autonome transportvoertuigen en digitaal aangestuurde transporttechniek. Senger-Weiss benadrukte dat ondanks de automatisering de mens een centrale rol speelt in de processen.<\/p>\n<p>De keuze voor de locatie Wolfurt werd gemaakt vanwege de nabijheid van het goederenstation, wat een effici\u00ebnte koppeling van weg- en spoorvervoer mogelijk maakt. Dit draagt bij aan de vermindering van emissies en verkeersdrukte. Bovendien profiteren de klanten van de ligging in het Vierlandenpunt, dat fungeert als een knooppunt van centrale Europese goederenstromen.<\/p>\n<p>Duurzaamheidsaspecten zijn zowel in de bouw als in de exploitatie in overweging genomen. Het gebruik van CO\u2082-gereduceerd beton en de installatie van een fotovolta\u00efsche installatie met een vermogen van ongeveer 1,5 megawattpiek maken deel uit van het energieconcept.<\/p>\n<p>Met een investeringsvolume van ongeveer 100 miljoen euro is het logistieke en IT-centrum een centraal onderdeel van de langetermijn groeistrategie van Gebr\u00fcder Weiss. Senger-Weiss verklaarde dat het project niet alleen belangrijk is voor de verdere ontwikkeling van het bedrijf, maar ook de goederenstromen van de regionale exportsector bundelt en een hub biedt voor de wereldwijde distributie. De in het project ge\u00efmplementeerde logistieke en technische standaarden moeten als basis dienen voor verdere locatieontwikkelingen, waaronder een gepland geautomatiseerd logistiek terminal in
