De locatie &#8222;Am Volkspark&#8220; zal de komende jaren een centraal werkpunt worden voor de afdeling Infrastructure and Maintenance van de HGK. Ongeveer 180 medewerkers, die momenteel verspreid zijn over drie locaties in K\u00f6ln-Godorf, Wesseling en Br\u00fchl-Vochem, zullen in de toekomst op deze nieuwe locatie werkzaam zijn. Het doel is om de taken op het gebied van infrastructuur en onderhoud op \u00e9\u00e9n plek te bundelen.<\/p>\n<h3>Effici\u00ebntieverbetering door centrale bedrijfsruimte<\/h3>\n<p>Dr. Jens-Albert Oppel, Chief Operating Officer (COO) van de HGK AG, benadrukte tijdens de feestelijke ceremonie de relevantie van het project voor de openbare dienstverlening in de regio. Hij verklaarde: &#8222;Met de samenvoeging van de net- en werkplaatslocaties kunnen we onze operationele processen aanzienlijk effici\u00ebnter organiseren. Met de nieuwe bedrijfsruimte cre\u00ebren we de voorwaarden om ons spoorwegnet in het gebied K\u00f6ln\/Bonn ook in de toekomst betrouwbaar te exploiteren en verder uit te breiden. Hiermee leveren we een belangrijke bijdrage aan duurzame mobiliteit en aan de openbare dienstverlening.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>De nieuwe bedrijfsruimte zal moderne kantoor- en werkplaatsruimten, evenals sociale ruimtes voor de medewerkers van de afdeling Infrastructure onder \u00e9\u00e9n dak verenigen. Dit moet hedendaagse voorwaarden scheppen voor de planning, exploitatie en het onderhoud van het HGK-spoorwegnet.<\/p>\n<h3>Positieve effecten op de economische locatie Br\u00fchl<\/h3>\n<p>Dr. Marc Prokop, burgemeester van de stad Br\u00fchl, benadrukte de positieve effecten van het bouwproject voor de regio: &#8222;De nieuwe bedrijfsruimte versterkt de economische locatie Br\u00fchl en cre\u00ebert moderne werkplekken. We zijn blij met de vertrouwensvolle samenwerking met de HGK en dat dit belangrijke infrastructuurproject in onze stad wordt gerealiseerd.&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>De HGK is verantwoordelijk voor de exploitatie en aansturing van spoor- en stadsvervoer op ongeveer 250 kilometer eigen spoorlijnen in K\u00f6ln en omgeving. Dit spoorwegnet biedt talrijke verbindingen tussen grote industrieterreinen en de K\u00f6lner havens als logistieke knooppunten aan de Rijn. Bovendien rijden op het net van de HGK onder andere de stadsbuslijnen 16 en 18, die een belangrijke verbinding vormen voor forenzen tussen K\u00f6ln en Bonn.<\/p>\n<p>In de al ter plaatse gevestigde locomotief- en wagonwerkplaatsen worden specifieke onderhoudsmaatregelen aan spoorvoertuigen uitgevoerd. De medewerkers zijn ook gekwalificeerd voor voertuiginspecties, inclusief remrevisies en werkzaamheden aan treinbeveiligings- en treincommunicatiesystemen.<\/p>\n<p>De bouwwerkzaamheden zijn al in het eerste kwartaal van 2026 begonnen, en de overname van de nieuwe bedrijfsruimte is gepland voor de zomer van 2027. Voor het bouwproject investeert de HGK ongeveer zeven miljoen euro.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hgk.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
