Sinds 1987 heeft hij verschillende afdelingen geleid, laatstelijk de afdeling Port Communication Services (PCS). Tot zijn belangrijke prestaties behoort de oprichting van het joint venture allivate in Frankfurt, waar hij als directeur werkzaam was.<\/p>\n<h3>Langdurige ervaring in IT-ontwikkeling<\/h3>\n<p>De loopbaan van Gladiator bij DAKOSY begon in 1985 als werkstudent. Na zijn studie als industrieel ingenieur nam hij in 1989 de leiding over verschillende IT-projecten in de haven van Hamburg. Onder zijn verantwoordelijkheid werd het gevaarlijke stoffen-informatiesysteem GEGIS ontwikkeld, dat DAKOSY tot op de dag van vandaag in opdracht van de stad Hamburg beheert. Na een korte tussenstop bij DB-Systems, de IT-dienstverlener van de Deutsche Bahn, keerde hij in 2004 terug naar DAKOSY en nam hij de leiding van de afdeling PCS op zich.<\/p>\n<p>In deze functie was Gladiator aanzienlijk betrokken bij de ontwikkeling en implementatie van import- en exportmanagementplatforms voor de haven van Hamburg. Vanaf 2010 initieerde hij samen met de gemeenschap op de luchthaven van Frankfurt de opbouw van een Air Cargo Community System, dat onder de naam FAIR@Link bekendstaat en vandaag de dag een centrale rol speelt in de luchtvrachtafhandeling op de luchthavens van Frankfurt en Hamburg.<\/p>\n<h3>Opvolgingsregeling en vooruitzicht<\/h3>\n<p>Om de toekomst van FAIR@Link te waarborgen, richtten DAKOSY en Fraport in 2024 het joint venture allivate op, waarin Gladiator als een van de directeuren werkzaam was. Per 1 januari 2026 droeg hij deze functie over aan Matthias Hupka en ook de leiding van de afdeling PCS aan zijn plaatsvervanger Malte Kantak. Bovendien werd aan het begin van het jaar de nieuwe afdeling ACS (Aircargo Communication Services) opgericht, die onder leiding staat van Ronny Anten.<\/p>\n<p>Gladiator sprak zijn tevredenheid uit over de opvolgingsregeling en benadrukte dat de uitdagingen in de sector blijven toenemen. &#8222;De procesdiepte en het aantal deelprocessen die we in onze systemen integreren, neemt continu toe. Tegelijkertijd groeit het geografische bereik van onze platforms door de toenemende betrokkenheid van de belanghebbenden in de toeleveringsketen, verder dan alleen de havens of luchthavens,&#8220;
