De vakbond Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) heeft zijn leden opgeroepen om op donderdag en vrijdag (12-13 maart) het werk neer te leggen. De geplande arbeidsconflict zou 48 uur duren en kan talrijke vluchten van de Lufthansa-groep be\u00efnvloeden.<\/p>\n<p>Bijzonder getroffen zouden vooral vertrekken in Duitsland zijn, waaronder verbindingen van het merk Lufthansa, haar vrachtmaatschappij Lufthansa Cargo en de regionale luchtvaartmaatschappij Lufthansa Cityline. Achtergrond zijn nog steeds onopgeloste cao-onderhandelingen tussen de luchtvaartmaatschappij en de pilotenvertegenwoordiging.<\/p>\n<p>Al medio februari was er in het kader van de lopende cao-ronde een eendaagse staking geweest. Ook deze keer hebben de piloten van de betrokken luchtvaartmaatschappijen zich in uravot overwegend uitgesproken voor arbeidsacties. Bij Eurowings loopt een overeenkomstige stemming nog, waardoor hun medewerkers naar verwachting niet aan de huidige stakingen zullen deelnemen.<\/p>\n<p>Vluchten naar het Midden-Oosten zullen uitdrukkelijk niet worden bestreikt. De vakbond onderbouwt dit met de gespannen situatie in het regionale luchtverkeer.<\/p>\n<p>Achtergrond van het conflict zijn volgens VC nog steeds vruchteloze gesprekken over de bedrijfspensioenregeling bij Lufthansa en Lufthansa Cargo.
