De online retailer heeft de Oostenrijkse intralogistiekaanbieder TGW Logistics opdracht gegeven voor de implementatie van een hooggeautomatiseerde logistieke oplossing. Deze omvat een shuttlesysteem, een kleinonderdelenmagazijn en een tasjes-sorteerder. Momenteel zoekt Galaxus verschillende technische leidinggevenden om het team ter plaatse te versterken.<\/p>\n<p>Het nieuwe logistiek centrum wordt gebouwd op een oppervlakte van 60.000 m\u00b2 en zal beschikken over een 39-gassig shuttle-magazijn met meer dan 900.000 opslagplaatsen, evenals een automatisch kleinonderdelenmagazijn met 300.000 opslagplaatsen. Een tasjes-sorteerder zal de bestellingen samenstellen, terwijl de verzenddozen automatisch worden gesloten voordat ze naar de uitgaande goederen gaan en op de vrachtwagenroutes worden verdeeld.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Stolle, algemeen directeur van Galaxus Duitsland, sprak zich uit over de plannen: \u201eWe bouwen op 60.000 vierkante meter een van de modernste en grootste logistieke faciliteiten van Duitsland. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat onze klanten zowel in Zwitserland als in de EU in de toekomst kunnen blijven kiezen uit een grote verscheidenheid aan producten die bij Galaxus op voorraad zijn en zo snel mogelijk comfortabel bij hen thuis worden bezorgd.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Modernisering van de logistieke locatie<\/h3>\n<p>Met het nieuwe logistiek centrum, dat de naam ON2 zal dragen, breidt Galaxus het al in gebruik genomen magazijn ON1 uit, dat in oktober 2025 werd geopend. ON2 zal vanaf 2027 de Zwitserse magazijnen bevoorraden en vanaf 2028 ook eindklanten in Zwitserland en de EU bedienen. Ondanks het hoge automatiseringsniveau is Galaxus van plan om ongeveer 1.200 vaktechnici in Neuenburg tewerk te stellen zodra beide magazijnen in volle werking zijn. Robert Brohl, hoofd Supply Chain Management, benadrukte het belang van menselijke arbeid in de logistiek: \u201eVoor veel processtappen in onze logistiek zijn mensen nog steeds onmisbaar. Dit gaat bijvoorbeeld om het oppakken van breekbare artikelen of het plaatsen van artikelen in de doos. De automatiseringstechnologie zal ervoor zorgen dat de goederen bij de medewerkers komen. Zij hoeven niet meer kilometers te lopen.\u201c<\/p>\n<h3>Vacatures voor vaktechnici<\/h3>\n<p>Galaxus heeft al verschillende technische leidinggevende posities geopend om de opbouw van ON2 te ondersteunen. Gezocht worden onder andere een \u201eLeader Control Center\u201c, een \u201eLeader Technics and Maintenance\u201c en een \u201eInternational Technics and Infrastructure (Director)\u201c. Robert Brohl verklaarde: \u201eWe starten met de bouw van de installatie nu de beslissende fase. Hiervoor zoeken we ervaren vak- en leidinggevenden die de locatie vanaf het begin mee willen opbouwen en vormgeven.\u201c<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.galaxus.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener
