Deze maatregel maakt deel uit van een langetermijnstrategie die gericht is op het verhogen van de effici\u00ebntie en beschikbaarheid van de voertuigen. Voertuigen die het einde van hun levensduur hebben bereikt, worden verkocht of na de hergebruik van nog bruikbare onderdelen gesloopt.<\/p>\n<h3>Verkoop van de lijnlocomotieven<\/h3>\n<p>In de jaren 2004 en 2005 heeft SBB Cargo Schweiz in totaal 31 lijnlocomotieven van het type Re 482 (Bombardier Traxx) aangeschaft voor gebruik op de Europese Noord-Zuid-as. Vanaf 2010 werden deze locomotieven verhuurd aan de nieuw opgerichte SBB Cargo International. In het kader van de beoogde standaardisering van de rollend materieelvloot heeft SBB Cargo Schweiz nu besloten om alle 31 lijnlocomotieven te verkopen. De koper is Nordic Re-Finance, die de gehele vloot in februari 2026 zal overnemen. Tegelijkertijd zal het Zweedse leasingbedrijf ook het bestaande huurcontract met SBB Cargo International overnemen, waarbij de locomotieven op de Noord-Zuid-as tussen Duitsland en Zwitserland in gebruik zijn. Over de aankoopprijs hebben beide partijen geheimhouding afgesproken.<\/p>\n<p>Met deze verkoop richt SBB Cargo Schweiz zich in de toekomst op de eigen voertuigvloot en trekt zich terug uit het eigendom van derden.<\/p>\n<h3>Vermindering van de typenrijkdom<\/h3>\n<p>In 2025 zal SBB Cargo Schweiz ongeveer 200 lijnlocomotieven van zes verschillende types bezitten. Tot 2035 is een vermindering van de typenrijkdom naar \u00e9\u00e9n moderne lijnlocomotief van Stadler Rail Valencia S.A.U. gepland. Locomotieven die het einde van hun levensduur hebben bereikt, worden verkocht of na de hergebruik van nog bruikbare onderdelen gesloopt. Verdere informatie over de circulaire economie bij de afvoer van locomotieven is te vinden op de Cargo Blog.<\/p>\n<p>Een moderne vloot is van cruciaal belang voor het spoorweggoederenvervoer van SBB Cargo Schweiz. De vernieuwing van het rollend materieel tot 2040 moet een uniformering en maximale vermindering van de voertuigtypes mogelijk maken, die optimaal zijn afgestemd op het productieconcept en de klantbehoeften. Momenteel zet SBB Cargo Schweiz verschillende types lijnlocomotieven, rangeerlocomotieven en goederenwagens in. Veel van deze voertuigen hebben het einde van hun levensduur bereikt, wat leidt tot kostbare en tijdrovende onderhoudswerkzaamheden en een negatieve impact heeft op de voertuigbeschikbaarheid.<\/p>\n<p>Door de beoogde standaardisering en de daarmee samenhangende effici\u00ebntere onderhoud wordt verwacht dat de operationele kosten van de vloot met ongeveer 60% zullen dalen.
