De reis had als doel de handelsrelaties tussen Hamburg en India te versterken, met name in de context van de vrijhandelsovereenkomst tussen de Europese Unie en India. Gesprekken in New Delhi vonden plaats met het Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways en Invest India.<\/p>\n<p>De delegatie werd geleid door Dr. Melanie Leonhard, de senator voor Economie, Werk en Innovatie. Tot de leden behoorden Jens Meier, CEO van de Hamburg Port Authority en president van de International Association of Ports and Harbors, evenals Hendrik Meyn, bestuurslid van Hafen Hamburg Marketing.<\/p>\n<h3>Focus op klimaatneutrale havenontwikkeling<\/h3>\n<p>Een centraal thema van de gesprekken was volgens de Hamburger Haven de ontwikkeling van klimaatneutrale havenstrategie\u00ebn. In een gesprek met de Mumbai Port Authority, de Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority en de Indian Ports Association werden ervaringen uit Hamburg, onder andere op het gebied van de bouw van
