Meer dan 100 teams starten van 4 tot 5 oktober 2025 met volledig batterij-elektrische voertuigen op een spannende route in Noordrijn-Westfalen. Met het sponsorschap wil Volvo Trucks de opkomst en acceptatie van batterij-elektrische voertuigen ondersteunen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Ismaning\/D\u00fcsseldorf) De E-Cannonball is de grootste elektrische auto-rally in Duitsland en vindt dit jaar plaats van 4 tot 5 oktober in NRW. De Volvo FH Aero Electric zal de hele route zonder aanhanger afleggen, omdat hij tegen personenauto&#8217;s concurreert en de rallytaken anders onoplosbaar zouden zijn voor een vrachtwagen. De E-Cannonball begint in de voetgangerszone van D\u00fcsseldorf en eindigt na verschillende routes door de omgeving van de Noordrijn-Westfaalse hoofdstad in het laadpark Hilden. Het afvalverwerkingsbedrijf REMONDIS GmbH &amp; Co. KG uit L\u00fcnen, dat meerdere elektrische Volvo Trucks in gebruik heeft, zal ook deelnemen met zijn Volvo FH Aero Electric.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We zijn zeer verheugd dat we Volvo Trucks als eerste vrachtwagenfabrikant en sponsor voor de E-Cannonball hebben kunnen winnen. Volvo Trucks is een pionier in de elektrificatie van het wegvervoer en heeft goede kansen om ook bij de rally vooraan mee te spelen. Bij ons gaat het niet om snelheid, maar om het overwinnen van uitdagende etappes en lastige proeven,&#8221; zegt Ove Kr\u00f6ger, initiatiefnemer en chef van de E-Cannonball.<\/p>\n<h5><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-29531 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/loginfo24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2025\/12\/Volvo_Trucks_21.8.25_2-173x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"310\" height=\"538\" \/><br \/>\nDe E-vrachtwagen in de schijnwerpers zetten<\/h5>\n<p>&#8220;Bij Volvo Trucks zijn we ervan overtuigd dat elektromobiliteit een cruciale rol zal spelen in de toekomst van het wegvervoer. Volvo Trucks produceert sinds 2020 elektrische vrachtwagens in serie. Tijdens de E-Cannonball willen we de voor de hele samenleving zo belangrijke vrachtwagens in de schijnwerpers zetten, om ook hier de E-mobiliteit vooruit te helpen,&#8221; aldus Manfred Nelles, perswoordvoerder van Volvo Trucks in Duitsland.<\/p>\n<p>De stad D\u00fcsseldorf zal tegelijkertijd een evenement over E-mobiliteit in het stadscentrum organiseren. Dit gaat over alle soorten elektrische mobiliteit, van e-scooters, e-fietsen en personenauto&#8217;s tot vrachtwagens. Volvo Trucks zal ook aanwezig zijn met een evenementtruck en tentoonstellingsvoertuigen om de vragen van alle bezoekers te beantwoorden en de E-mobiliteit bij vrachtwagens nader toe te lichten.<\/p>\n<p>De E-Cannonball viert dit jaar zijn 8e editie. Meer dan 100 teams starten met volledig batterij-elektrische voertuigen, van motorfietsen tot personenauto&#8217;s en E-omgebouwde voertuigen, tot de Volvo vrachtwagen op een gevarieerde route door Noordrijn-Westfalen.<\/p>\n<h5>E-Cannonball wil bewustzijn voor elektrische voertuigen vergroten<\/h5>\n<p>De E-Cannonball is de grootste elektrische rally van Duitsland en heeft als doel het bewustzijn voor de effici\u00ebntie en het potentieel van elektrische voertuigen te vergroten. Het evenement werd in 2018 onder andere opgericht door elektromobiliteitspionier Ove Kr\u00f6ger.
