Arvato zet verder consequent in op automatisering. Momenteel heeft de <\/strong>op Supply Chain Management en E\u2011Commerce gespecialiseerde globale logistieke dienstverlener een nieuw <\/strong>Rack-to-Person-systeem <\/strong>ge\u00efmplementeerd in zijn <\/strong>logistiek centrum in Pozna\u0144, Polen. <\/strong><\/h5>\n

(G\u00fctersloh\/Pozna\u0144) Door het nieuwe Rack-to-Person-systeem wordt de effici\u00ebntie van de orderverzameling en de magazijnprocessen voor de online business aanzienlijk verhoogd. “In het kader van onze automatiseringsstrategie investeren we in moderne magazijntechnologie\u00ebn en robotica. Ons doel is om de effici\u00ebntie van de magazijnprocessen te verhogen en de medewerkers een werkomgeving te bieden die hen ondersteunt bij het uitvoeren van hun taken,” legt Lidia Ratajczak-Kluck, directeur van Arvato in Polen en lid van de Arvato-directie, uit. “Met dit innovatieve Rack-to-Person-systeem hebben we nu ook in Polen een automatiseringsoplossing in gebruik, waarmee we onze logistieke processen kunnen optimaliseren en onze concurrentiekracht op de markt kunnen vergroten. Vooral voor klanten met een breed assortiment cre\u00ebren we met deze oplossing een enorme meerwaarde.”<\/p>\n

Het nieuwe systeem is gebaseerd op geavanceerde robottechnologie en ondersteunt en vergemakkelijkt de orderverzameling voor de medewerkers. De autonoom rijdende robots vervoeren in het 48.000 vierkante meter grote logistiek centrum in Pozna\u0144 zelfstandig de magazijnrekken met de goederen naar de orderverzamelstations, waar medewerkers de goederen volgens de bestelling kunnen ophalen.<\/p>\n

De robots bewegen zich met behulp van een camerasysteem en navigatiecodes in het magazijn. De directe levering van de rekken rationaliseert en versnelt het orderverzamelproces aanzienlijk - niet in de laatste plaats door de snelheid van de robots. Zodra de orderverzameling is voltooid, rijden de robots de rekken automatisch terug naar de juiste opslagplaats. Om de ideale indeling van de hal en de beste opslaglocatie voor elk artikel te bepalen, maken ze gebruik van historische gegevens en heatmap-analyses.<\/p>\n

De Rack-to-Person-robots zijn ook een voorbeeld van het gebruik van kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) in de operationele processen. AI helpt hen zich te ori\u00ebnteren en routes te optimaliseren. De robots worden ingezet in een afgesloten magazijnzone, waarbij sensorgates ervoor zorgen dat medewerkers niet per ongeluk in het werkgebied van de robots komen. Het gebruik van robots in combinatie met het compactere gebruik van de beschikbare opslagruimte voor de legborden maakt de opslag van meer producten mogelijk. De oplossing maakt bovendien een continue werking mogelijk, wat de productiviteit en operationele effici\u00ebntie aanzienlijk verhoogt.<\/p>\n

Snelheid en flexibiliteit<\/strong><\/h5>\n

“Snelheid en flexibiliteit worden steeds belangrijker voor onze klanten. Het algemene doel bij elke automatisering is daarom om de productiviteit van onze klanten te verhogen en flexibel in te spelen op hun eisen,” zegt Philipp R\u00fccker, hoofd Transportmanagement en Logistiek Engineering bij Arvato. “Alle automatiseringsoplossingen, of het nu gaat om robot-, Rack-to-Person-, AutoStore-, shuttle- of verpakkingsoplossingen, ontwerpen we met een hoog niveau van modulariteit en flexibiliteit. Zo cre\u00ebren we een schaalbaar systeem dat we indien nodig snel en eenvoudig ook op andere locaties kunnen implementeren.”<\/p>\n
