De eerste versie van het zogenaamde Open Logistics Report zal regelmatig worden bijgewerkt en aangevuld. Idee\u00ebn, opmerkingen en vooral nieuwe en opmerkelijke projecten kunnen op elk moment bij de Open Logistics Foundation worden ingediend om het overzicht uit te breiden.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Dortmund) Het Open Logistics Report v1.0 weerspiegelt de community-aanpak die de Open Logistics Foundation volgt. Het rapport biedt logistiek professionals een toegangspunt tot de wereld van open-source. Het document biedt een gedetailleerd overzicht van momenteel 19 wereldwijde lopende open-sourceprojecten op het gebied van transportlogistiek, douaneafhandeling, warehouse management systemen en digitale vrachtbrief (eCMR).<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Vereenvoudiging dankzij open-source<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>De logistieke sector bestaat uit veel partners met verschillende, maar in de kern vergelijkbare oplossingen. Wie in de logistiek gegevens wil uitwisselen, heeft een uniforme procesbegrip nodig. Daar zetten de Open Logistics Foundation en haar leden op in. De non-profitorganisatie fungeert als neutrale tussenpersoon bij door de industrie aangedreven open-sourceprojecten die proberen uitdagingen in logistiek en supply chain management op te lossen. Voorwaarde is dat de projecten niet concurrentieverschillend mogen zijn. Op dit commodity-niveau werken zelfs directe marktgenoten binnen de stichting samen. Het resultaat zijn open-sourceoplossingen die voor iedereen, ook niet-leden van de stichting, open beschikbaar zijn. De gezamenlijke ontwikkelingsaanpak biedt de logistieke bedrijven verschillende voordelen. Enerzijds verlagen open-source software de operationele kosten en maken ze een effici\u00ebnter gebruik van middelen mogelijk; anderzijds ontstaan er open interfaces die de naadloze samenwerking langs de logistieke keten vergemakkelijken.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Open-source kan de weg vrijmaken voor een bedrijfsoverstijgende digitalisering van logistieke ketens, maar wordt tot nu toe slechts in enkele gebieden toegepast. Het rapport toont aan dat er al veel werk is verricht. Hier is echter nog aanzienlijk potentieel voor verdere projecten,&#8221; legt Andreas Nettstr\u00e4ter, CEO van de Open Logistics Foundation, uit. &#8220;Het nieuwe rapport staat symbool voor de &#8216;Doe mee-mentaliteit&#8217; van de stichting.
