Maar wat als ze meer zouden kunnen zijn dan alleen laaddragers? Het in februari 2024 gestarte project &#8216;Pal2Rec&#8217; onderzoekt hoe (Euro-)pallets zelfstandig kunnen worden ge\u00efntegreerd in logistieke processen door middel van sensorgebaseerde activiteitdetectie.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Dortmund) Pallets genereren ook bewegings- of mobiliteitsgegevens (bijv. via QR-codes). Deze moesten tot nu toe echter altijd worden ingedeeld met behulp van begeleidende informatie zoals camerabeelden. Het onderzoeksproject &#8216;Pal2Rec&#8217; (Sensorgebaseerde logistieke activiteitdetectie van (Euro-)pallets) onderzoekt nu of de bewegingsgegevens van pallets kunnen worden herkend en ge\u00efnterpreteerd door het gebruik van sensoren. Dit zou niet alleen een volledig nieuwe gegevensbasis voor logistieke processen opleveren, maar ook geheel nieuwe analysemogelijkheden bieden.<\/p>\n<p>Het project wordt gefinancierd in het kader van het innovatiesinitiatief mFUND met ongeveer 181.000 euro door het Federaal Ministerie voor Digitale Zaken en Verkeer (BMDV). Het Fraunhofer Instituut voor Materiaalstroom en Logistiek IML doet als co\u00f6rdinator van de samenwerking samen met de leerstoel voor transport- en opslagtechniek (FLW) van de Technische Universiteit Dortmund onderzoek tot oktober 2024 aan het project. Het doel is een haalbaarheidsbewijs dat logistieke processen door de extra sensorgegevens interpreteerbaar en reproduceerbaar zijn.<\/p>\n<h5>Samenwerking met industri\u00eble partners<\/h5>\n<p>Om dit bewijs te leveren, rusten de onderzoekers een demonstrator-pallet uit met de benodigde sensoren. In een experimentele setting willen ze ontdekken welke sensoren bijzonder geschikt zijn en welke gegevens verzameld moeten worden. In samenwerking met industri\u00eble partners worden de processtappen ge\u00efdentificeerd die centraal staan in de gegevensverzameling. Op basis hiervan ontwikkelen de onderzoekers een script dat de verwerking van de gegevens en een handmatige activiteitdetectie mogelijk maakt.
