VTG zet hiermee haar digitaliseringsstrategie consequent voort om verdere effici\u00ebntieverbeteringen te realiseren in de afhandeling van goederentreinen<\/strong>.<\/h5>\n<p>(Hamburg\/Graz) De automatische remproef is een belangrijke factor in de voorbereiding van goederentreinen, aangezien de controle van de remmen verplicht is zodra wagons worden losgekoppeld of de trein langer dan 24 uur stil staat. Het besparingspotentieel voor spoorwegbedrijven is dan ook aanzienlijk bij dit tijdrovende proces, zowel wat betreft menselijke arbeid als kosten.<\/p>\n<p>Met het geautomatiseerde systeem is de effici\u00ebntiewinst enorm: Bij een 500 m lange goederentrein duurt de handmatige controle van de remmen ongeveer 40 minuten en zijn er twee medewerkers voor nodig. De automatische remproef kan daarentegen typisch door slechts \u00e9\u00e9n persoon in minder dan 5 minuten worden uitgevoerd, waardoor de stilstandtijden van goederentreinen met machinisten en locomotieven aanzienlijk worden verminderd.<\/p>\n<h5>Met succes getest op pilot treinen<\/h5>\n<p>Sinds 2017 wordt de door PJM en SBB Cargo ontwikkelde technologie met succes getest op pilot treinen. Op basis van deze uitgebreide proef zal VTG dit systeem als uitrustingsoptie beschikbaar stellen.
