De Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) test vanaf deze maand een digitale oplossing genaamd “passify”, die de toegang voor vrachtwagens tot de Hamburger containerterminals effici\u00ebnter en veiliger maakt. De app passify zal de huidige vrachtwagenafhandeling met de vrachtwagenkaart vervangen. Het product is ontwikkeld door HHLA Next, de innovatie-eenheid van HHLA.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

HHLA-bestuurslid Jens Hansen: \u201eMet passify behalen we een aanzienlijke winst in veiligheid en verhogen we de effici\u00ebntie op onze locaties in Hamburg. We zijn bezig de terminalafhandeling zo ver te digitaliseren dat onze locaties een voorbeeld worden op het gebied van digitale terminals. Met dergelijke projecten maakt HHLA haar ambitie waar om een drijvende kracht achter innovatie in de logistiek te zijn.\u201c<\/p>\n

De passify-app revolutioneert in eerste instantie de vrachtwagenafhandeling aan de Hamburger terminals van HHLA, door enerzijds de veiligheid van de vrachtwagen toegang te verhogen en anderzijds de afhandeling voor de vrachtwagenchauffeurs te vereenvoudigen. In de toekomst zullen de meer dan 6.000 vrachtwagenchauffeurs die dagelijks containers naar de Hamburger HHLA-terminals brengen of daar ophalen, via passify op hun smartphone toegang krijgen tot alle benodigde informatie. De smartphone-app is volledig ge\u00efntegreerd in de terminalprocessen en digitaliseert de toegangprocessen. Het systeem begeleidt vrachtwagenchauffeurs door de gehele afhandeling en vereenvoudigt zo het proces. Bovendien biedt passify de chauffeurs op termijn een mobiel zelfbedieningsterminal in een centrale app.<\/p>\n

Omdat elke chauffeur zich met behulp van passify duidelijk identificeert, neemt ook de veiligheid bij de toegang tot de locaties toe. Tegelijkertijd worden de toegangprocessen vereenvoudigd, omdat alleen geauthenticeerde vrachtwagenchauffeurs toegang krijgen. passify waarborgt de normen met betrekking tot veiligheid en gegevensbescherming en voldoet aan alle vereisten van de wereldwijd geldende ISPS-code.<\/p>\n

Nog dit jaar zal HHLA op haar Hamburger locaties beginnen met het geleidelijk vervangen van de traditionele vrachtwagenkaart van plastic door passify. Al vanaf juli zal de smartphone-app worden getest en vervolgens geleidelijk worden ge\u00efntroduceerd op alle Hamburger HHLA-locaties.<\/p>\n

Na introductie kunnen andere terminalexploitanten zich aansluiten<\/h5>\n

Sukcesief zullen ook alle transportbedrijven toegang krijgen tot passify. Ze worden actief begeleid bij de transformatie van de vrachtwagenkaart naar passify. Daarbij wordt ook uitgelegd hoe de chauffeurs zich zelf kunnen registreren en verifi\u00ebren voor het gebruik van de smartphone-app. Na een succesvolle introductie op de Hamburger HHLA-terminals zullen ook andere terminalexploitanten het praktische digitale hulpmiddel bij hun toegangspoorten kunnen gebruiken. Op termijn is het de bedoeling om passify ook voor andere spelers in de haven te vestigen.<\/p>\n
