Onlangs kon TGW North America zich verheugen over een nieuwe mijlpaal in zijn geschiedenis: de intralogistiekspecialist overhandigde een hooggeautomatiseerd Fulfillment Center aan het toonaangevende lingeriemerk Victoria\u2019s Secret & Co. Het vlaggenschipproject in Columbus, Ohio, indrukwekkend niet alleen met zijn afmetingen, maar stelt vooral normen op het gebied van prestaties en flexibiliteit.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Marchtrenk\/Columbus) Victoria’s Secret & Co. is de grootste gespecialiseerde retailer ter wereld voor lingerie en biedt een breed assortiment moderne collecties, waaronder bh’s, slips, lingerie, nachtmode, evenals athleisure, bekroonde geuren en lichaamsverzorgingsproducten. Victoria’s Secret & Co. zal het nieuwe Fulfillment Center in Columbus gebruiken voor de verzending van online bestellingen naar klanten in de hele Verenigde Staten. Om korte doorlooptijden, snelle levering en hoge servicekwaliteit te waarborgen, heeft het modemerk ge\u00efnvesteerd in een krachtige oplossing.<\/p>\n

Tot 640.000 picks per dag<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Met het FlashPick\u00ae<\/sup>-systeem voor automatische orderverwerking kunnen bestellingen effici\u00ebnt en met de hoogste variabiliteit worden verzameld. De TGW Warehouse Software is verantwoordelijk voor het plannen, aansturen, bewaken en optimaliseren van alle pickingprocessen. De modulaire opbouw van de software dekt zowel het voorraadbeheer in de shuttle als de orderverwerking, de goederenstroombeheersing en de visualisatie.<\/p>\n

In piektijden maakt FlashPick\u00ae<\/sup> tot 640.000 picks per dag mogelijk, samen met een geautomatiseerd pick-to-light-systeem dat voor nog eens 360.000 picks per dag zorgt. Het krachtige hart vormt een shuttlesysteem, waarin Stingray-voertuigen zorgen voor het volledig geautomatiseerd in- en uitlageren. Bestellingen worden samengesteld op handmatige PickCenter One verzamelwerkplekken en een robotgestuurd PickCenter Rovolution.<\/p>\n
