ITS is een onafhankelijke, in 1992 opgerichte, Zwitserse expediteur met het hoofdkantoor in Reinach in het kanton Basel-Landschaft. Het bedrijf biedt voornamelijk gespecialiseerde diensten voor de hightechsector aan.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Parijs\/Reinach) Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO van GEODIS, verklaarde hierover: \u201eTalrijke multinationale bedrijven, die belangrijke klanten van GEODIS zijn, hebben hun zetel in Zwitserland. Onder hen bevinden zich ook enkele belangrijke spelers uit de farmaceutische industrie. Met de overname van ITS komt GEODIS een stap dichter bij zijn doel om zijn klanten een wereldwijd naadloos netwerk aan te bieden. Onder leiding van Massimo Bianco en Javier Sanchez heeft ITS zich succesvol ontwikkeld tot een bewezen partner en gespecialiseerde expert voor zijn klanten. We kijken ernaar uit om het ervaren managementteam en de getalenteerde medewerkers van ITS bij GEODIS te verwelkomen.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>ITS is een onafhankelijke, in 1992 opgerichte, Zwitserse expediteur met het hoofdkantoor in Reinach in het kanton Basel-Landschaft. Het bedrijf biedt voornamelijk gespecialiseerde diensten voor de hightechsector aan. Dit betreft met name de organisatie van transport en logistiek voor specifieke projecten en overdimensionale apparatuur voor de industrie, de automobielsector en de defensiesector. Het bedrijf biedt ook standaard zeevracht- en algemene vrachtservices aan, evenals andere aanvullende diensten (olie en voedsel, evenementenlogistiek, kunsttransport, douaneafhandeling, enz.). In totaal heeft ITS 26 medewerkers en rapporteerde voor het jaar 2022 een omzet van 58 miljoen CHF.<\/p>\n<h5>Breder scala aan diensten aanbieden<\/h5>\n<p>Massimo Bianco, CEO van ITS - International Transport &amp; Shipping Ltd., zei: \u201eOns doel is om onze klanten in een grotere geografische markt een nog breder scala aan diensten aan te bieden. Met de overname worden onze bestaande capaciteiten aangevuld door de uitgebreide expertise van GEODIS en zijn wereldwijde aanwezigheid. Deze stap zal helpen om ons doel te bereiken en zal alle klanten ondersteunen die de complexe wereld van een voortdurend veranderende toeleveringsketenomgeving willen beheersen. We zijn dan ook zeer blij om nu deel uit te maken van GEODIS.
