Eind maart 1923 ondertekenden Zwitserland en Liechtenstein het douoverdrag, dat van cruciaal belang was voor de ontwikkeling van een gezamenlijke economische ruimte. Dit keerpunt in de politieke en economische relaties tussen de twee buurlanden wordt ge\u00eberd door het Zwitserse Douanemuseum bij Lugano en het Liechtensteinse Landesmuseum in Vaduz met een gezamenlijke tentoonstelling \u00ab100 jaar Douoverdrag Zwitserland\u2013Liechtenstein\u00bb. <\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Bern\/Vaduz\/Gandria) De tentoonstelling werd geopend in aanwezigheid van de voorzitter van het Federaal Departement van Buitenlandse Zaken EDA, minister Ignazio Cassis, en de minister van Buitenlandse Zaken van het Vorstendom Liechtenstein, Dominique Hasler. De opening van de tentoonstelling vond plaats op 31 maart 2023 in het Zwitserse Douanemuseum in Cantine di Gandria bij Lugano. Verschillende gasten en vertegenwoordigers van de bilaterale relaties uit Zwitserland en Liechtenstein waren uitgenodigd, waaronder minister Ignazio Cassis en de minister van Buitenlandse Zaken van het Vorstendom Liechtenstein, Dominique Hasler.<\/p>\n

Bilaterale uitwisseling van de ministers van Buitenlandse Zaken<\/h5>\n

Voor de offici\u00eble opening van de tentoonstelling ontmoetten minister Ignazio Cassis en zijn Liechtensteinse ambtsgenoot Dominique Hasler elkaar in Lugano voor een bilaterale uitwisseling. In het centrum van de gesprekken stonden de nauwe en vriendschappelijke relaties tussen de twee landen. \u00abHet 100-jarig jubileum van het douoverdrag is een belangrijke mijlpaal in de bilaterale relaties van onze beide landen\u00bb, benadrukte minister Cassis. Verdere onderwerpen van de bijeenkomst waren de relaties met Europa, de oorlog in Oekra\u00efne en de deelname van Zwitserland aan de VN-Veiligheidsraad.

Tentoonstelling duurt tot 20 oktober 2024<\/h5>\n

De tentoonstelling in het Zwitserse Douanemuseum in Cantine di Gandria duurt van 2 april 2023 tot 20 oktober 2024 (van november tot en met maart is het museum vanwege weersomstandigheden gesloten), elke dinsdag tot en met zondag van 12:00 tot 17:00 uur. De tentoonstelling in het Liechtensteinse Landesmuseum in Vaduz duurt van 27 april 2023 tot 20 augustus 2023, elke dinsdag en donderdag tot en met zondag van 10:00 tot 17:00 uur en woensdag van 10:00 tot 20:00 uur.
