Door de overname van Global Freight Connections (GFC) gevestigd in Basildon versterkt het wereldwijd opererende logistieke bedrijf Schneider, met hoofdkantoor in Bazel, zijn activiteiten op de Engelse markt en in de regio Londen.<\/strong><\/h5>\n

(Bazel) Het middelgrote expediteursbedrijf GFC werd in 2002 opgericht door Paul Marshall en beschikt over een breed scala aan logistieke diensten: hoogwaardige oplossingen in landtransport binnen Europa, zee- en luchtvracht, evenals voor stukgoed, FTL en deelladingen, expresvervoer, logistiek en e-commerce. Douanediensten voor het Verenigd Koninkrijk (Basildon\/Dover) completeren het portfolio en zijn een belangrijke factor voor de vestigingen in continentaal Europa.<\/p>\n

Contacten bestaan al langer<\/h5>\n

Al voor de overname bestond er een actieve samenwerking met verschillende leden van de Schneider-groep, met name met de Franse vestigingen en met Glob-Sped in Zwitserland.<\/p>\n

Martin Isler, COO Road van Schneider, merkte hierover op: \u00abDoor de al zeer goede contacten op verschillende niveaus, kennen we de bedrijfscultuur en professionaliteit van GFC en zijn medewerkers. We zijn daarom overtuigd dat we samen met GFC onze diensten in Engeland gericht verder kunnen ontwikkelen en uitbreiden.\u00bb<\/p>\n
